Religious views
Khan belongs to Pathan Muslim family through his father, and Maharashtrian Hindu through his mother. His family celebrate Islamic and Hindu festivals such as Maha Shivaratri and Ganesh Chaturthi. In 2010, Khan said that he is "half-Muslim and half-Hindu".
